    Car computer advice

    Hi
I'm very interested in getting myself a car PC when I get my S2 and have a few questions.
I want cetain uses for the PC and cirtain restrictions and would appreciate some help on here as I'm finding it difficult to find online.
Here are the specs I would like:
    1. Single DIN sized head unit with touchscreen which goes away when off.
    2. DVD player (put the drive into glove compartment)?
    3. USB compatability for my GPS mouse
    4. DAB and standard radio
    5. MP3 player
    6. CD player
    7. Jamo, I want your front end or something similar
    8. VAG-com on the fly and error/fault checking
    9. Hidden PC unit (S2 avant)
    10. Wireless internet
    11. Using mobile sim card in car and over speakers (therefore microphone needed too) OR bluetooth for same purpose
    12. Able to use Oziexplorer GPS software (works on laptop with GPS mouse)
    13. Ease of use
    14. Cheap (ish)
    15. TomTom type software

I am reasonably computer literate and can builld a PC from scratch but programming is a big no no.
Would like to spend as little as posssible (I want the world on a plate too). I don't really need a very high spec machine as I won't be running games, big software etc

Second hand parts wouldn't be a problem either.

I know this is a "how long is a piece of string" type question, but how much will I need to spend to get what I want (I can fit myself I think)
UrS6 - Homefry, Bailey DV, PiperX filter, Samco hoses, H&R springs, 3" D/P back zorst, 270bhp and 260ftlb

Triumph Daytona 955i - mmmmmm :fire:

    80 dag dag :driving:

Its probably worth looking into the linux communities for front and backend software for a carputer, Ant did a bit of work on a system too
