B6 A4 after market Head unit install?

It won't turn off with the ignition but you can if you like.

You must check the other wiring against the standard wiring to make sure you're not going to damage anything.

Right then, headunit is in, all is working, I can hear the dvd audio, except I cant see the DVDs on the screen. The menu screen and system settings display, so I know the screen isnt faulty, I have spliced the handbrake cable to the earth on the HU, but its still not playing. I have turned the park setting in the setup screen off, and dont have any other ideas. Its the Ripspeed DV710..........anyone help?

Nevermind, disregard the last, plugged the extra wiring loom in and the screen worked straightaway! Most pleased.
