Replacing my Sony tape head unit with DAB/MP3

I was thinking of replaicing the Sony tape head unit with this Blaupunkt model, does anybody know what else i will need, for example a wiring adaptor? it also mentions a DAB glass mount aerial?

Then adapter with the Sony unit may be ok. whip the radio out and have a look.
Halfords supply wiring adapters or there is on lower down the same page. The DAB aerial comes with it anyway.

The standard S2 antenna may not be up to DAB.

Thanks i will do, not sure how to take it out without the proper bits of metal, i'll have a go tonight. this glass mount aerial though i was wondering how it would attach?

The standard aerial wont receive DAB signals, you'd need a diplexing Aerial

Check the DAB faq and the various aerials.

The best one is the inside window mounted one (it requires power though) that sticks to the top of the inside of your windsreen.

I nearly bought a Woodstock but i'm sticking with my Pioneer DEH P9400
and maybe buy a DAB tuner at a later date.

The woodstock head units now come with the aerial for DAB....

Lee has one of these,great bits of kit,i think Blue spot is still the cheapest way to buy one,i got my 53 from there(now they have a 54 too),quick delivery etc.

Ive been lazy in not fitting my Dab bee sting aerial yet,works ok using just an earth in london. That was a fact not a reccomendation.
