Becker and speakers.

Becker head units are they any good?
Any other makes worth considering?
I'm thinking of putting an mp3/bluetooth unit in the 2, but its' got to look period (the alpines look too flash) and involve no cutting etc. I'll upgrade the speakers behind the original grills (the back ones are shot anyway) so it'll have something to drive.
Any suggestions on the speakers?

Becker are brilliant there are other good makes but i like the basic look of the becker and O.E colour

If you want OEM good looks and a reasonable set of modern features then Becker is the only way to go, in my opinion.

Jas has some cracker photos of his one in a thread about audio I think.

I mean, they are expensive when you compare the feature set to say a Sony or whatever, but the look is such a good match I simply didn't care!

Bluetooth, MP3 / WMA Disc support, pre-outs for amps (incl seperate sub out) and a great look - enough for me, lol.

in both of mine, they're that good for an S2 on various different fronts, in my opinion.

Hello, on my RS2 I have try Becker navi and radio with vocal command and is really fun, but the colour was green, now I have a Becker Grand Prix 7992 and I'm happy with it, the best Becker for the sound are the unit with the Becker Surround system that also with the original speakers of the RS2/S2, sounds really good.
