    10 cd multi-changer help

Hi, could anyone help - my 10 cd multi-changer (sony with standard fixings) is bolted to the back of the rear seat (the larger of the two) and everytime i have to drop the seats i have to unplug it and it also then ends up in the middle of the boot, i worry about it if i put anything heavy in there. Does anyone have any ideas as to the best location for it?
    ('94 coupe) .

    Cheers.

Often see them in the rear storage space, under the flap in the boot.

ive got a 6 disc in my glove box which is neat n tidy otherwise the flapin the boot is best all tho i had one in the boot in my last coupe boot which suffered from leaky rear lights as every coupe does at some point in its life which i think shortened the life of the disc changer but if you aint got a leaky light it wouldn't be a problem

Buy an Avant and then you can put it on the uderside of the spare wheel cover

Sorry - i realize that this is no help at all but it had to be said

I had my Kenwood 10 disc mounted between the spare and de rearseat, against the side.
          The spare protects the changer!

I have mine mounted in the boot using massive velcro strips But that way you can mount it wherever you want and move it if you need to

Got mine in the same place on the back seat, and never had any problems, I have got quite a lot of spare on the multi player lead though. Also its partially protected by the spare tyre.

I've got mine on the back of the back seat, but I think I'm going to move it into spare wheel well. Much safer.

Another plus for the superior Avant over the inferior Coupe.

Seen a few mounted on the shelf below the steering wheel , though I think only the newer stealthier units fitted (depthwise) !!!!

Mines under the flap in the boot, padded a bit, so it doesnt move around, perfect place, out of sight and doesnt take up boot space
