What was the original head unit in RS2

Anyone know what was originally fitted in an RS2 head unit and multi disk player in boot ?

Mine has an original (albeit an upgrade option as shown in it's paperwork) Sony cassette, Mini Disc and 10 disc CD changer in the rear ..... do you need exact model numbers ?

the standard GB option was a Sony XR-301 with 10slot CD changer apparently.

That was original Audi UK set... The Blaupunkt Gamma on EU models is superior for three reasons -

1 - looks better
2 - has the RDS output to cluster
3 - doesnt have a sony badge on it - heheh

The Gamma also supports a CD add on... look on German eBay as they turn up occasionally
