    Amp Aerial Connection

I've been having a problem with my Amps cutting out recently and not working and for the life of me i couldn't work out why.

After a hour of reconnecting all wires i attacked the head unit. My remote on wire is bi wired to amplified aerial connection then to the remote on - on the head unit.

When i disconnected the Amplified aeril wire, everything sprang into life!!!

Now i'm totally baffled as this configuration has been working for 3 months and it don't work now unless the amplified aerial is disconnected.

    Any ideas?

In the meantime i'm going to try a different 12v source for the aerial maybe of the switches, depends!

Hi Jamo, check for earth faults, the cable could have been damaged. The best thing to do is to use a small relay and power the ariel from that.
