RS2 rear speakers alternative location and use of spare wheel space

I find the rear speakers oddly placed and the rear seat is block 80% of the speaker. I am no expert, but common sense tells me sound is affected. Anyone tried mounting it towards the " front" end of the door ? I saw some pictures showing a manual window winder in that location, so I guess there is an electric motor behind that spot.


I also plan to put the amp and sub in the spare wheel space. Seen many people did that in different avant models, but not on an S2/rs2.

Be a lot messing for little gain. Rear speakers only reinforce the sound of the front speakers. If you invest in a good front speaker setup and have the rears just to "fill" the sound in the standard position it will sound great

Yeah, but the front only take shallow mount 4" .
