hi i have a sony MDX C8970R head unit which is about 5 years old with voice activation etc and wondered if there is any way i can get it connect to my ipod using some sort of lead , i wondered if i could remove the lead to my cd multichanger and substitute a new one which is ipod friendly or is it not that simple

On my Pioneer unit i replaced the output to the Multi CD player with and Ipod lead. The Headunit then is set to have an Aux input. Depends on the connection on your unit.
