New Head Unit Advice

hi guys I`m poss on the lookout for a new unit and have these two in mind

has anybody got any experience or info on either of these any advice is always welcome

I have the 133BT headunit and it's pretty handy - I use a 4GB USB stick and the bluetooth. If you're after it more for the BT than anything else then make sure you look at the BT spec, as mine has the same spec as the 136, just without DAB, the RCA ouputs etc.

I don't have direct experience of these headunits, but I would receommend spending just a little bit more on the one with the better display (oled/organic?) as it will be better for displaying text and generally slicker.

Can't go wrong with alpine head units in my experience. Would use other people for amps and speakers, but I think their head units are amongst the better sounding ones and are feature packed.

I have the 133bt and very happy with it , I also have an iPhone but its still on ios5 as there was a slight ios6 issue with Bluetooth . Otherwise I have no info on the ones you listed

Cheers I have focal 6x9 on back shelf and focal 4" in front with tweeters in front doors will try to find a local hifi shop and have a lookie

I have no experience with these devices, but I was Alpine 123, Alpine 7893 and Alpine 9833. New devices sound a little worse, but it is worthy. I think the 137 a good choice. Time delays are very useful and convenient.

If you're not running separate amplifiers then you won't need to shell out on a stereo with extra pre-outs, so well worth looking at the internal amplifier spec to make sure that you get the best one available.

I have one separate amp which just drives the rears and Rockford fosgate sub in a fekin big bass box. The stereo will drive the front and tweeters and the speakers in the side pods

With 137 model it will be easier to take a step forward in the further development.
