  • Now the CD player ain't working!

Right so yesterday had the whole combo of trip clock and player not working due to fuse blown.

So redid the settings on the headunit went away changed over my rear demist button left the car.

Went for a quick test run and the headunit not powering up

So checked the fuse knowing its fine as the trip and clock are displaying info.

I do know the wiring behind the headunit is messed up. Previous owner.

I'm thinking the switch power is feed off the back of said switch I changed. Maybe when pulling it through has knocked it out.

Will check this after work. Any other thoughts??

Check under the plug in the back of the headunit. Under where th ISO block plugs into the unit is often a small fuse hidden from view and these can blow....

At least if the cd player is working you can be cheered up unlike if the trip computer is working and its telling you that you are struggling to get above 20mpg.

I managed the dizzying heights of 26.4mpg in mine
