I was installing the stereo and found that original Audi rear speakers are with built in amplifiers. Behind the stereo there comes a red connector with about 7 wires on it. Can anyone give me a layout on which wire is which? I even don’t have the original stereo.

Hmm, this could be a tough one!! I don't ever remember S2's coming with active speakers (speaker with amp on speaker).
All the A4's had this as did other later Audi's. There was an adapter loom from the Audi dealers for Sony radio's with these active spekers, I think that had a wiring diagram in it.... I'm pretty sure it was part number 035 SNY 120 or 120A. Try your local dealer and ask them if they have either of these part numbers. Then if they do, grab a photocopy of the wiring diagram!!
