I wanted to replace the base of my urS6 Avant's roof ariel for the radio, to cure a water leak, but when I took down the rear light, I saw that it had a black rectangular cover, instead of the more normal hexagonal nut and serrated washer ?
hmm, i *may* have one of the square ones kicking about as a spare if you need it...think I butchered an old a3 base for the gasket for my old avant and never used the square one to refit
The nut is under the cover and the base is still the usual square fitting
The cable socket should slide back toward the housing to allow the cable to pull out, although the connector seems to be different to most others
