there must be a relay in your aux relay box, that might be shot. check according to model. bose units have their own power relay.

Definitely worth checking. On the 200 20VT it was relay No. 14 under the dash:

I am not sure if we know what the "patient" is. S2? UrS?

On an C4 UrS4/S6 there is a thermal fuse in the Auxiliary Relay Panel ("lunch box") under the hood, in the A4 position:
