This is the best place I could find to ask this question... I would like to get facts from owners of recent Audi vehicles that have the RNS-E system AND the factory Bluetooth phone interface. I am finding conflicting info around the web as to whether the factory Bluetooth adapter supports music streaming (A2DP) from the phone or just voice calls.
What is the truth here - maybe it depends on the year/variant of the adapter ?
I am weighing up going with the OE bluetooth adapter or an aftermarket one from Dension (Basic Plus) that does support A2DP on the RNS-E and all of the normal integration to display etc. Downside of aftermarket seems to be that it won't work with the stealthy OE location for microphone but again is hard to find real hard evidence.
Any info greatly appreciated.
