On request I got an official letter from AUDI AG with the factory spec`s and additional extras listed for my car.

It list factory fitted extra include a "Radio Gamma CC with roof antenna" to the cost of 1.425 DM.

The radio is still in the car and is Audi branded on front, but a sticker of the rear says the unit is made by Panasonic, Japan.

When looking in the pricelist dated FEB, 1994 it says:
Radioset "Gamma CC" 1.425 DM
Several-ways soundsystem, 2 speakers in Dash, 4 speakers in rear doors, with roof antenna (EL-amplifier)

Thanks RS2 Driver, it seems there were different set ups for different countries. But i am tending towards the Gamma radio.

What code does your build tag say for that? 8AD? I just checked another German delivery RS2's tag and its code was 8AD = Gamma.
