  • Controll Delta CC radio through remote controller pin TripTonic Steering wheel

I am planning to upgrade my C4 with an C5 TripTronic steering wheel.
My car has not have automatic transmission so i want to use the triptronic buttons for controlling the Delta CC radio.
I know that the radio has an remote controller pinout but dont know anything further
    how can i arrange it.
    Do you have any idea?

First point is I don't think a C5 steering wheel fits on a C4 steering shaft. Different spline size and taper.

As far as I know these are the three-spoke airbag steering wheels that fit:

      Hello UrS4boy,

thank you for your reply.I am going to use this steering wheel:

Which is quite similar as my current wheel expect the buttons.
I know it is only buttons so i dont know what will controll the radio

Buttons on wheel can be wired up in parallel with any button on radio (except maybe volume knob)
Some more work involved but C5 wheel can be fitted on C4 using spline adapter. There's even OEM part for that.

Can you provide the PN for the OEM spline adapter?

The C5 wheel will require a C5 clockspring to help make those buttons work.

Not sure what the PN will be. Something like this one 1J0959654M

                    interface

                    Hello,

i have the steering wheel and the clock spring too.
But i don't have idea how to transfer triptronic buttons signs into delta cc.

                    I have found this:
                    http://www.pcarworkshop.com/index.ph...Steering_Wheel
Main problem is that he made with aftermarket radio which has an direct remote input(3,5 jack)

But the main problem is that i have no further info about the delta cc i have the repairing manual it does not contains infos about the resistance values which means the volume up and down etc.

                    Do you have any idea?

You need the controller from C5 . It looks like a power window relay (fromC4) . It looks like a double relay. Inside it has the electronics to communicate with the head unit.

My project is running slowly,i got my blaupunkt remote control Rc 12H but it does not works with Delta CC.
It can use different IR protocol.
                        Examining this Delta Circuit:

It shows it can be an IR reciever on the front panel. Is any one who can confirm this?
Fernbeinung means remote controller so it can be possible to remote control the delta CC(just my theory..)
