    Ok, Bilsteins came today and..

here are the part numbers, which according to Jamo, the fronts won't fit.

    Front (Sprint)

    625 44 1200

    Rear (Sprint)

    625 44 1280

So i need to send the fronts back, get the sports with a M55 thread?

Those part numbers dont match up with the Bilstein site.

Honestly mate, i thought they made sprints for the front but i spoke to Porkkis and The Spanish and they defo dont fit as the fronts need to be M55 and not M52

      this is weird.

im sure s2driver or who ever the other guy on here is witht he other pearl s2 who also runs billies said to me that it has to be the small thread as that will only fit the coupes.

only thing to do is try and fit them i guess, thats the only way i will know.

When mine were bought by the previous owner I had (For a MY93 Coupe)

        Front:

        625 4411 90 Sport

        Rear:

        625 4412 70 Sport

Don't know if that helps or not?

        Good luck.

        Cheers,

        Steve.

Nah mate, if you search for his post with the Bilstein part numbers and cross reference that too www.bilstein.de you'll see that he bought M55 front shocks.

Jamo you beat me to it:

There are two front strut insert part numbers - I think one has a smaller diameter though not sure it that relates to an avant or if anyone knows if the strut was made larger shortly after production of the s2 started......anyways

                      Fronts on mine were: PE3-3086
                      Rears : P36-3017

I received my Cup kit today

                          Got PE3 3086 and P36 3058 in the kit
                          with VA and HA springs

Shame i aint got time to install before Biling!

One question for those with alloy top mounts, do you ditch the slotted nut when you fit them to the front damper?

                          Thanks

@ Jamo, is there anything left on your car that is not getting modified. Are you going to get all these mods actually fitted and come to Combe in October? It would be nice to see the car after 18 months worth of modding...!
