Power streening fluid ''WRONG ONE'' Help!!

i'm driving home and suddenly the steering gets really heavy then
the PS pump starts whining, i look under the bonnet and see that there's a leak from
the top plug (one with an X on it) anyway i have look @ the fluid level and there's nothing i it luckily i had some of my plumbing tools in the back. so i took the plug off
and i see that the o-ring is Screwed so i replaced it with one i had, all this done in a layby so now i need some fluid, i walk to the nearest MOT garage 1 mile away looks a bit shady but i need some fluid to get home, the owner of the garage asks me what i'm looking for? i reply ''i'm looking for some power steering fluid
for what car? Audi S2, this is what you want ''Castrol TQ dexron III''. so i put it in and
every things fine. i get on the forum and it says on all the threads for power steering
''DON'T USE DEXRON IT WILL DAMAGE THE SYSTEM'' so you know what i'm thinking

The fluid has been in the system for about 2 hours will it do damage
    in that amount of time.

    HELP WHAT SHOULD I DO!!!!!!

all the o-rings,and gasgeds are gone ,they have gone to the dobble size, and dont fit anymore you have to change the system,i'm sure.i had to do that on the car (a200tqa)
