    Lowering my S2..

After "treating" myself to a set of 17" wheels have decided to sort the suspension.

Do I lower the car or just stiffen the ride?.....I would like to lower it by about 25mm ish
what is the verdict on this issue??....it seems that H&R springs gets a big mention but not too sure about shocks....

Thanks in advance for the advice

I have the tried and tested setup of H&R springs with Koni shocks. The H&R springs lower quite a lot, and they stiffen the suspension quite dramatically. The Konis are a great match for these springs IMHO, it improves the handling of the car alot, wbut do be prepared for a much harder ride.

I don't know what other stiff spring options there are and whether some offer a slightly less stiff spring rating?

I have the H&R/ Koni combo too and they are awesome but think about how much ground clearance you need day to day. Mine now has 3" clearance under the cats and catches the road when driving enthusiastically on country lanes (is there any other way) Had to modify my driveway to to get it on, a grand i could of spent on my motor!
So if you live in the sticks just have the shocks.

Yes, with the H&Rs you certainly know the meaning of "Speed Bumps"...
