  • Any experiences with H&R coil overs?

I'm considering to buy a H&R coil over set for my Coupé.
Does anyone have a similar set under his car? I'm particulary interested in the adjustable range, since I'm only considering a 20 to 30 mm lowering.
H&R seems not to offer a specific set for the coupé, I'm told that the S2 saloon/Avant kit will suit??

    HI Peter,

Not had direct useage of H&R on the S2, but I know a little from past experience .

I think you'll find that the coil overs are only height adjustable at the back of the car! the front are normally fixed height. H&R sometimes use Bilstein shocks in their kits which are great! their springs are a real good comprimise between ride quality and strength, so the kit gets a huge thumbs up.

I can advise for sure the Avant shocks are NOT the same as the COupes!! so this kit cannot fit all surely!! Try to make sure what they have on offer is going to fit your car from H&R, if they cannot guarentee they'll fit, be cautious!
