Scratch that, I have just got off the phone with Euro parts and they have said they are £27.99 + Vat. Does that sound right or cheap and nasty.

Unless another part from the family parts bin just happens to fit, but I don't know of it yet.

Hi, cananyone confirm the correct size of tie rod end, because i recently got one replaced and it was approx 10mm larger in dia (35mm) than the original, giving me only1mm clearance from the 225 tyresOriginally posted by Andy_CaseyI noticed that the track rod ends that I got were smaller than the originals and posted a couple of threads a while ago. They did seem substantially smaller and on a car of the power and weight of the S2 it just didn't seem right. Thanks for the warning Ant, I'll have to check mine asap.
. I fitted a set of 5mm spacer rings all round to give adequate clearance. Trouble is im getting annoyed with wheel vibration and the hassle with the spacers when changing the wheel
. Im about to purchase som 18 rs4 wheels and as these are 8J width im worried there might be contact
.
Probably be better to change to a smaller tie rod end and do away with the spacers altogether???
Any suggestions???

Sorry about the poor pic quality, took it after work in low light and the car was covered in muck. The tie rod end i approx 35 in diameter, about 20mm deep and distance upto strut is also about 35mm.
many thanks....Comment

The round end part of it is approx diameter 35mm.
This is a genuine part, the difference between this and the one from GSF is that the rod part where it screws on to the arm is thinner on the genuine item compared to the GSF part.Attached FilesAnt
