Took the opportunity of a dry day to fit my alloys with Good Year tyres on to my latest S2.
Drivers side has a cast wishbone and the passenger side has a forged item. Not a major problem as I have a spare forged wishbone which I can transfer.
I suspected this may be the case as a previous owner had damaged one side after a blow out.
Question is, how do I tell if the wheel bearing housing is forged or cast as I would like everything to match.
Chassis number is before the 5000 break in 1994 so should have forged items.
