We have made an enhancement so that old threads should now link from search results to the correct thread. This is not yet in place for single post links
does anyone know or has anyone tried to buy the adjuster (Threaded bar) part of the track rod seperate??As i cannot find it as a seperate part as all i really need is the adjuster, otherwise you have to buy complete track rods i think????Would a metalworks supplier be able to get hold of some threaded bar as i think it is standard m12 bar but it goes from rh thread to lh thread???PLease let me know if im wrong in saying this!

A pair of new arms arrived for mine this morning. I'll show the adjusters to Carlys dad and see what he thinks about building some.
Need some ideas on what materials and roughly how many we might want. Also any changes (such as making the nut section in the middle a bigger diameter)

It isnt so much the diameter but the width of the nut section. if it is wider a better purchase could be made on it.
When I had them fitted, they were done together with all around coil overs and QRSport topmounts. Bearing in my n's front shock was completely shagged beforehand (no rebound whatsoever) the difference was quite staggering but that's only to be expected.
Car goes around corners quite flat now with a lot of feel in the wheel (this bit probably down to track rod ends IMHO), although does become unsettled on the really bumpy stuff. WOuld like a slightly less hard ride, but can't have everything... lol.
Cheers
