When I hastily press/depress gas pedal I hear a rather loud clunk noise somewhere beneath the rear seats followed also by a jerk in the car movement. It is very annoying. In the service they said it is normal and a fault on all audis (default serviceman answer to unusual problems). What can it be?
Did you every find out what the noise was? My car has the same problem. It happens when I release the clutch to quickly. I hear a load clunk coming from the rear of the car. Diff.???
No I haven't, but it wasn't the rear diff mount (I replaced it). Although I noticed that even with a new mount there was a lot of slack (diff movement). So I decided to replace the diff too. Will tell you what happened.
