    £360 for Konis

Car is going into the garge on thursday......... timing belt, and H&Rs going on due to order of new rims BUT i was going to change the shocks and then i found the price tag!!!! the guy was as shocked as i was! I searched the forum and found that some where was doing them for £73 but the link was broken

So do i just run standard shocks for a bit or wait untill i can track some thing down or billes? Any thoughts welcome James

depends on how quickly you need them but I found shocks in the US to same in $ as we pay on £, ie they pay $100, we pay £100, if you send them surface mail from the US then shipping only costs $50 but takes 5-6 weeks, not sure if you are allowed to send them air mail as they are pressurised.

not sure but I didn't have to pay any extra tax, but then the they weren't from my companies US office with a statement on the customs form to the effect that they were left behind from a previous trip, which probably meant they slipped by un-noticed on the basis the assumption was that I had taken them to the US in the first place.

I bought bilstein rather than Koni, but go the worng thread size which means I have a set of front shocks that don't fit my S2 but fit just about every other Audi

                    I got mine from eshocks

might be worth looking at the bilstein gas shocks instead
