Is it green??
I would not mix with the 2000........
One large bottle of fluid is enough for the system iirc
About flashing , yes undo the return line from the pump and start to feed the fluid box with new oil.. untill it become all new.
About removing the steering rac. it have 8 bolts i think or six. two for the arms which turn the wheels. remove them. then remove the hydrolic fluid line. then u have i think two bolts in the chest on the rack which is bolted in the chest of the car , and two bolts behind the left wheel. and u must to free the steering column from the steering rack under near the pedals. brake and so on. and in the end u take it off.
NOTE for Skull23 you are expert to understand my english. if u want more details contact me tonight and i will get u it 100% right
Ok , in this picture is visible which bolts and washer u have to take of to remove the steering rack and the one which marked with nomber 2 is the one u have to loose from the steering column , inside the car. and i forget to mark the hydrolic pipe bolt.
for diesel and 4 cylinders engines is very easy, Left hand drive.
s2 and v6 i can see the steering rack in my dream only....
I have removed a steering rack from a scrappy car. it is not really a mayor PITA (for a 4cyl engine), definitly not an engine-out or gearbox-out job. me and a friend menage to do this in an hour, counting that we did this for the first time. it requires removing the brake bomb.
