    Removal of airbag steering wheel??

    Hi Folks

I need to get to the steering wheel central nut of RS2 to tighten it up, the wheel has a small bit of movement (sort of rocking vertically). Aside from disconnectiing the battery and waiting a couple of hours, how does one actually get to the central nut? I see there are two torx screws at the back of the upper two spokes, but I tried to loosen these and they are incredibly tight.

    Any ideas anyone?

    Thanks
    Andre

Yep they are tight. Give them all that you got. When i loose mine, there was a bit of smoke coming out of the holes Remove the upper plastic behind the wheel, disconnect the airbag there (for even more safety).

There may also be an airbag connector somewhere around the steering column, it's usually red, just be bloody carefull if you have seen an airbag go off it's like an explosion.
