Rs2/S2 power steering hose: Pictures? parts#s?

Hello everyone.

I'm in the process of converting my 94 v6 2.8L to a 20vT engine. The v6 power steering rack is different than the coupe quattro rack. However I believe it's the same unit as the aby/RS2 unit.

Does anyone have part #s or pictures of the RS2/Aby hose? Also are the part#s the same as any other engine setups like the 200 10v or 5000 10v? AAN S4? 200 20vT 3b?

I'm curious to find some options before I attempt to ******** with this hydraulic shop owner about making me a hose. He's not the friendliest or most patient person that I know these days.

The 200 10v hose looks like it might work but I'm really not sure and I'm looking for some options. Also noted I've got vacumn assisted brakes. The vacumn brake canister is right above the feed line for the rack. It needs to have a banjo bolt fitting on the end of the feed hose.

Looking for any input.

I had to replace the power steering hose on my car (S2 3B) and went through the process of looking at getting one made up...but in the end it looked like it was much easier to buy one from a breakers yard. I will post a few piccies up of the hose (I know its very similiar to the ABY one except the loop the loop banjo fitting at the end is oriented differently!!

Also of the fluid tank. I'm curious as to how the lines run from there and where is the cooler mounted?

Hi, massive thread revive here.

I'm doing the same as the OP in the first post but my application is RHD.

Does anyone have detailed pictures on the powersteering rack and hose routing??

I will have some lines made to suit, just need to follow the factory layout.

My RHD powersteering rack, noting the feed and return ports with red caps in them. I have the original bango bolts to make the new lines up for these.

Original v6 reservoir and cooler on the left. C4 S4 lines, cooler and reservoir on the right. None of which really fit my application but we're useful in providing the correct fittings, at least.
