    What have i done wrong?

    Hi All,

Fitted new wheel bearings to the rear of my RS2 yestereday and now the rear of the car "shimmies and skips sideways" over lumps in the road. I removed the wheel bearing housings in order to replace the bearings and fiited them back to the car in what i thought was the correct way ie:

    1) fit bearing housing to lower wishbone with the housing upright and loosely fit camber adjusting bolt.
    2) connect the top wishbone to housing bolt and tighten
    3) connect ARB drop link to housing loosely
    4) connect track control arm to housing and tighten
    5) put the cars weight on the suspension and then tighten ARB drop link and camber adjustment bolts.

I know the camber is probably out but I did not thing that this would cause this problem?

Any ideas as to what i have done wrong?

Pressed the bearings in with a 15t hydraulic press as i usually do and then went in fine as did the hubs!

No pictures of the setup but it looks exactly the same as when it came off and the diagrams in ELSA

Are you sure the bearing is correct? Did the brake disk line up fine in the caliper carrier (eg/ equal gap on either side)
Wheels are on and all bolts torqued up?!! (obvious I know but its been done before!!)

Are your ball joints or drop links knackered?
