Damo, I've fitted 20v ur ones. They look exactly the same as the s2 ones but had a different part number which would explain the steel/aluminium issue.
Have you fitted s2 shocks and springs or ur quattro ones?
My car doesnt sit low enough using s2 stuff, thinking of reverting back to the ur stuff.

Hi mate. Its been ages! Yes, I've got the S2 uprights and hubs (as kindly supplied by you of course!) but fitted my UR bilsteins and H&R springs. The car sits very low indeed and the ride is very firm (can't really drive it on the road for any distance) but ti really hangs on on circuit.

With my uRS4 conversion I am definitely keeping the ur stuff as swapping to S2 stuff was really not worth the hassle. I will use the S2 subframes with UR uprights and hubs and driveshafts. I will then weld on pickups for the arbs on the uprights.

You got any pictures in your gallery of your project so far mate?

Taken pics along the way, engine and box is in.
Need to sort exhaust, some wiring, fuel pipes and intercooler, not sure whether to use a charge cooler set up? Any pics of your chargecooler?
Are you happy with your brakes? What size are the discs?

Cool. Where are the pics? On your site?

My chargecooler was not enough on its own to keep inlet temps down so doubled up with an intercooler too and they stay nicely low. Here is a pic:

My brakes are fantastic, I have to say. They lack feel because of the linkages etc but they do actually stop. Depends onwhat you want to do, if you want to keep the std ronals than this is the best option. The discs are 299mm I think so not massive but they work. Might wanna check with Corey.

Pics are still in my camera! Have you got a pic of the engine bay?
Where did you get the cooler from? Would it be as effective without the intercooler?

It is a pace 3 core cooler. An Escort Turbo conversion they do. Had to get one of the inlet/outlets moved (can't remember which) but my application will be different to yours so you might not want to do it. There are always one or 2 on ebay.

Neither would be good enough without the other.
