    power steering pump

    hi,

    the s2's in for a service and (amongst other things) needs a power steering pump replacing. the quote I've been given for a replacement part is £225-250 - anyone know whether that sounds reasonable?

    The place servicing it is TAP Audi who I've been assured are very good, but just wanted to check...

    any help would be much appreciated,

          would try it but don't have the time/expertise/equipment to attempt it at the moment...

              Yes theres a post by Graham.

              If you speak to Sal or Bry they should be able to get you a good unit for half that (if that! ).

              Depends if theres is new or not.
