You can change the style the forum displays by selecting your preferred style at the bottom left of the site.
We have made an enhancement so that old threads should now link from search results to the correct thread. This is not yet in place for single post links
Tried searching this but could't find definitive answer. I'm about to replace my front subframe bushings. Is it possible to remove the front subframe so that the gearbox mounting brackets (red circled in the pic) remain attached to the gearbox? It would be easier that way since the top allen bolts holding the brackets to the gearbox are not too easy to reach.
Yes, it is possible as I put my subframe in after my engine and gearbox went in. From memory though, the gearbox mount bolts are meant to go top down and I didn't have space so put them the other way around. That might be the only issue but you could cut them and put new bolts after you have done the job.
