  • RS2 Steering Arm Info Urgently Required

I need a bit of help, the guy doing the work for me on my RS2 Refurb work has told me i need new steering arms Part Numbers: 811 419 802K & 894 419 802A Im searching around on the net and it seems i can only find a Lemforder or Febi equivalent however it shows that both are the same side, can anyone confirm if these two arms are handed or are both sides identical. Even though they have different part numbers.

A quick response from you guys would really be appreciated.

If anyone knows part numbers for cross ref to any other manufacturer, that would be great.

On a LHD drive car there is a straight arm and one with a small bend into it for clearance. As parts catalogue is showing the 2 numbers you gave for RHD I would think they are different in shape like on the LHD drive cars:
    1967 fiat 500 future project
    1976 audi 100 coupe S
    1989 vw corrado 16V
    1989 audi 90 quattro 20V sport
    1994 audi RS2 project
    1994 audi RS2 parts car
    1995 audi RS2 project

Blux is right. They are different.
I have one nos spare. The one for the right side which has a slight bend in it. The left one is straight and a little longer (I think).

I think I have found one arm on ebay and the other (straight arm) is possibly salvagable.

They seem to be available new from carparts-pros as I posted in the other thread.
I've ordered from them a bunch and they're good.
              If you're in a pinch.

You can have my spare, it's for sale.
Another option is to get the old ones blasted and coated and Alex here (error404) will make you new bushes. This is what I did.
Use high temp paint on the right one as it's close to the downpipe

I've ordered a bent one on ebay but thanks very much for the offer. I just need the straight one, although my man is saying the old one is possibly salvagable so he will give it a try. I will still keep my eyes open for a new one though.

It's just the bush that will need replacing. They are factory fitted so Alex is your best option for an excellent aftermarket version. The threads are internal so should be ok. You can buy the ends no problem and the threaded adjuster. There was a group buy for the adjuster made in stainless steel. I can't remember who did it now but worth searching as they are very good.
