Hi
What are the thread on the banjo that goes to the holder of fluid ? The threading on servo pump.
And the threading on the hoses from the servo pump to steering column and the other hose to ?
Best regards
Ok, as none of the experts have come forward, I will try.
The fittings into the servo are standard 10mm male brake pipe union.
Banjo on the pas were two sizes from memory (I could be wrong) but 7Zap only lists one M14x1.5.

Is there any restrictions in the power steering hoses ? Talk with one to make new ones , he said when he did to a car , in his car there was restrictions inside the hoses otherwise there steering is not locekd when you let it go. It would just go all over the place . How is it on the S2 ?
Yes there is a flow restrictor of some type. People have had lines made up and have experienced odd noises without the restrictor. Not sure whether it affected driving. If you can get the restrictor out of an old hose, you may be able to have this inserted into a new hose.
The hose itself is a special proprietory specification hose with a teflon inner liner that is resonance damped - you cant just use a generic hydraulic hose unless you like lots of noise (like any hydraulic circuit in operation). The lump in the middle of the hose isn't a restrictor its just a ferrule to support the hose in the middle - the teflon liner runs through tyhe middle. Cut an old hose open you will find this. You might be able to remove the liner and fit it inside another hydraulic hose but i would be dubious it would work.
The flow control valve orifice in the pump is the only restrictor.
