Coilovers from B5 to B4

Does coilovers from B5 (sedan, fwd) fit B4 (sedan, fwd)?

Good question. By "fwd", do you mean front-wheel drive?

If yes, then the fronts won't, but the rears might. If you mean four-wheel drive then the fronts still won't but the rears would fit.

The rear end on B4 B5 quattro is almost idential. Well the avant.
As already stated front are drastically different

B4 fronts are like B3, nothing like the B5.
B4 rears are like B5.
B4 fronts are like B3 rears, except they have the steering arm piece in the strut housing and they dont have the rear tie rod part on the knuckle.

So, is there alternative for KW1 coilovers, because they're a little bit out of my price range ? I saw there is ta technix coilovers, but they offer 50mm drop, both on front and rear, and I think I will need a little bit more.
