  • Where do I find rear track rods ?

    Hi

Been looking for new track rods for rear subframe on a s2 3b.

Isn't being produced anymore or? Was looking for Lemförder but couldn't find any.
How is the quality of unknown/less known brands for this parts? Will it hold up?

There is no other brands. OEM from tradition or track oriented uniball based stuff from verkline.

Before you visit tradition... What is actually wrong with them? Joints can be regressed, Rubber boots can be replaced, metal can be painted...

There is a how to somewhere in the Internet, can't find it at the moment but there is a way!

Bought them from Audi Tradition for a small fortune :/
I guess the project will get good results in the end

Yea, depending upon the model, $150 to $170 a piece for the rears. Over the top.

About 3 years ago, VAG had a close out on these tie rods in the states. You could buy them for $39 a piece.

The high cost now is why I put together the knowledge for rebuilding, if it is just the boots that are bad. $25 a pair to rebuild them is a lot cheaper than 380 euros. And I get the parts from Europe.
