    Igor,

    To assist anyone who might read it, I have tried to incorporate your recent and unfortunate UrS / Bilstein experience into my Bilstein into MacPherson thread (link below). As I know very little about C-series cars such as yours, would you please take a look through post 31 there and let me know if I've captured your situation accurately and sufficiently etc.

      Maybe I was wrong not to lift the car a few inches on the crane. As much as the shock absorber stretches. Then at the start I would see that something was wrong. These are dangerous jobs that are not done quickly. We need to think first.
