  • suspension rebuilt - fastener spec

I'm looking at renewing all rear suspension, and don't particularly want to re-use the nuts & bolts.

What specification is recommended & best suited? Currently looking at 10.9 grade yellow zinc plated nuts & bolts.

    TIA

10.9 is good. The only bolt outside the engine which is higher grade that I'm aware of is the crank bolt on the bottom pulley. Zinc plate (yellow) will rust much quicker than the oe bolts. Where I've used these in the past I've sprayed them with Bilt Hamber clear wax.

Some kind of passive galvanized. Error sells them for Coupe subframe but you have a Urs4?

I have UrS4 correct. I'll look into getting OEM bolts if they're still available.

I don't think you will find much. I'm just doing everything underneath on a Urs6 and really struggling to find parts and bolts.

No surprise there I guess, Audi is pretty useless. What hardware did you go for?

Most of the bolts have cleaned up and will be zinc painted and 're used. I do have a good collection of used Audi bolts I can dig into if necessary. Sometimes, vagbolts on eBay have oe bolts so worth checking with the part number and also the size from 7zap
