I've got a friend running KW's on his Passat, he really rates them says the kit was really good quality and piece of cake to fit. And it has made a massive transformation to the handling of the car.

No news on how they are on an S2 though sorry

appologies meant to put KW's not FK's I was half asleep

KW V2 brilliant, used them a couple of times.
Have a couple of sets coming for S2's so will report our findings, 034 already use these on their projects.
We are looking at becomming a dealer for them also.

If you want coil overs and want to tune your ride height and be able to tweak your suspension then the KW's (but not the V1's) if you just want to lower it then the H&R's everyday. IMHO

I really like the H&R springs (with Koni's) but I agree totally with Bry, they are not to everyone's taste.

I'm planning on buying the variant 1 of KW, are they too soft ? I know that you can't adjust the rebound like on V2's. Do you have any experiences with V1 ?

                    Cheers, Giorgio.

I have KW V2 on my S2. It feels like a real track car, more like go-kart. If I use jack to lift one wheel then usually both wheels come off the ground from one side of my car.

Not so nice on bumpy roads.

They are really stiff, if you push your car from the side then it doesn't want to move at all. I'm having them all year round (winter we have snow) and it's still drivable.

They are strong too. I have hit big tarmac holes but nothing hasn't broken yet.

I have just noticed that GSF are now an FK stockist and are doing a promotion of 15% off.

Seems like a good time to buy!

Can anyone advise if changing the dampers is straight forward on an S2? Do you need a tool to compress the springs to get them off of the dampers?

Yep you do.... Remove the whole leg then surpress the springs, easier than trying to do it on the car...
