Vibration from driver side front wheel

    Hi guys,
I was hoping you could shed some light on a peculiar problem that I have been having with my UrS4 Avant.

    Basically its something like this:

When braking or pulling away I sometimes get a "click" from the driver side front area(suspension or wheel).
I also get a bad vibration from this side when I accelerate to about 80mph but goes away when I slow down again. I can feel the vibration through the steering wheel.

What do I need to look for to diagnose these kind of issues?

PS I dont reckon it is bearings as I cannot seem to find any play when i tug on the wheel while its up.

    Thank you in advance.

If by click you mean a bang when pulling away or braking, hard I mean, try reversing with full lock. If you still get a bang or 'click' get under the front end and tighten everything up!!!!
Meaning lower ball joints, ARB links and caps(which are onto the subframe), anything and everything that can be thightened do it!!!!!!

I had the same a while back and found going under the front end with a spanner and making sure everything was tight as a nuns c**t (sorry) resolved the problem. A few bolts were loose only by half a turn mind but still loose!!!

Likely a link rod or ball joint. The link rod links the ARB to the strut housing. Cheap and easy fix.
