I have noticed my coupe lifts it's front significantly when doing 6000+ rpm launches - like a shark on attack. I reckon a lot of energy is wasted that way.
I've heard that it's the shocks that are causing this, not the springs. I already have yellow Koni's (with default springs) so I would like to hear some opinions on this.

Hmmmm - easy with the Koni bashing there - I have lots of vids and watched many big power URs and S2s on the drag strip for launches. It is amazing how they hunch down at the rear and lift the nose... Been that way since first WRC cars... DUnno what the cure is - I posted a Q on this last week actually.
Sorry Paul BUT I tried two sets of those yellowey orange joke shockers on my UR. Just rubbish. It would rear up like tontos horse when the boost came in! and rolley polley on track!
Bilsteins just transform the whole car,
I think Koni get a load of boge oe shockers and paint them their colour. I couldn't tell the difference!
Have you tried the same car with both makes?
Usually, it's all about angling the lower wishbone legs to converge at a higher point towards the longitudinal centre of the vehicle - that means the rear leg higher than the front leg on front wishbones, and the front leg higher than the rear leg on rear wishbones.
This counteracts excessive lift and dive/squat at each end to a certain degree, depending on how severely angled the wishbones are.
To explain this a little more: taking the geometry to extremes, if you rotated the wishbones all the way over so that both inboard points are aligned vertically instead of horizontally, the wishbones won't move up or down at all.
It's also possible to fit droop limiters in an effort to counteract front wheels lifting, which can be as simple as a piece of cable or chain, but that's something which needs careful consideration as the effect when cornering might be less desirable.

I think Newsh has direct experience of replacing OE with Konis on standard springs?
