S2 to type 85 coupe quattro

Will the front and rear struts and hubs from the S2/coupe fit the early coupe quattro or do i need to replace the subframes aswell ?

They will fit but you will also have to fit the s2 balljoints. The driveshafts will not fit though, s2 ones are equal length but cq ones are sided.

also you will need at least 15mm or 20mm wheel spacers to fill those big arches
