I had a wheel 4 wheel alignment done a couple of weeks ago and few days later when reversing into a parking space on full lock there was a loud clonk.
The camber adjustment nuts on the n/s front wheel had come loose. Although I didn't realise this until it took it to a new alignment place a few days later.
Since having everything tightened up and a 2nd alignment done I am getting some wheel bearing "moan". The noise is a little intermittent but most apparent going in a straight line at a constant speed, disappears when breaking, etc. However it did settle down on the second half of a 300 mile drive over the past two days. (The bearings are only a 14 months old)
Could a bad alignment cause the wheel bearing to moan or might driving around for a few days with the camber seriously out have damaged the wheel bearing?
