    left lock clunking noise

    Hi

    Does anyone have an idea? I've just had a new lower suspension bush replaced on the offside. Since getting the car back I notice that turning left on full lock from standstill there is a nasty clunk coming from said suspension area. I took the car to the local garage, it needed the work done to pass the MOT. But now I have this awful clunking. first thing tomorrow I'll be on the phone. Perhaps they haven't torqued it correctly, or something else I don't know?! It did take them 2 goes to get the right bush as my car has the A4 arms...

      Bet they did not tighten things up with the car back down on the ground with the suspension loaded !

              You weren't quite right but nothing much more serious than you said. I think it was the suspension arm catching on full lock. This was taken out to do the bushes...
