Topmount torque setting check

Cannot work out from the guides or having watched done. Can you check the topnut is torqued to correct value with 22mm socket and wrench without the 'special' tool clearly needed to undo said nut ?

I've always used an O2 sensor socket and a spanner. You know one of those open sided sockets.

Never used a torque wrench for it, just crank it down tight and recheck a week later.
