    Hydraulic leaks?

    Hello all,
whilst my expected travel towards the UK where hopefully i will stay for a couple of years i wanted to have the car trouble free to begin with, not only for the long trip there, but also for the fact that labour and parts are more expensive in the UK than in Greece.
    SO,
i have a small leak on the steering rack for quite some time now, that it doesnt create a shortage of steering fluid though. It is coming from a weird place that there doesnt seem to have a replacement part from AUDI and the only thing to do is remove it to have it serviced in a specialized shop i guess.

Also i discovered a small leak from the high pressure hose of the steering pump that goes from the pump to the bomb.It leaked once and then it stopped. For a few days now i have seen no leak from there. The pressure hose costs 245euro from AUDI.

Finally i need to get brake pads all around(will cost me around 300euro with fitment.

questions areo i need to desperatelly fix those steering leaks(which will probably cost 400euro the least) since i have no hydraulic fluid drop. The only thing that bothers me is that occasionally, when the engine is cold and i usually go over bumps i get the red brake signal on the dashboard.I know this can be the plug on the hydraulic fluid reservoir, and i have cleaned it thoroughly,but...Also i did the test for the bomb and i can say that i was well over 20steps on the pedal before it stiffened a lot.So my guess is that the bomb is OK,and i just have the 2 leaks(1 occasional) and the red signal occasional as well.

    Does this justify a 400euro repair(at least)??
