I bought mine from VAG parts, think for all four with vat/carriage it was £300 or similar.
have been very good, now had them on for six months or so.

I was the same, got the lot from VAG parts RS2 dampers round about £300, IMHO well worth it!

Cheers guys, gives me a rough figure of what to expect.fronts were changed about a year ago, before I bought the car.Rears look pretty rusty and old.Want to replace whilst I am replacing the knackered bushes at the rear,to save me doing again at later date

are you going to go for powerflex bushing at the rear or just OE parts?

I upgraded the top mounts whilst changing the dampers, that was also worth the money. i am just doing all bushes as we speak-using OEM as don't want too harsh a ride - large wheels v.low profile already give me enough of a hard time!!

Cool, good to see some S2's staying the same. I recently went for RS2 dampers all round, H&R springs and Blue top mounts, was pretty impressed, but must admit the ride is a bit harsher, and yes having lower profile tyres too doesn't help.

all the best in your re-build

Thanks mate, looking foward to getting rid of the clattering coming from the rear end,and removing my knuckles in the process

To OEM or not to OEM

Having had the experience with my urS6 that Bilsteins are cheaper than the OEM's and I was pleased with the handling I decided to get Bilstein replacements F & R for my RS2. They are on order....
