    strut distances?

could someone tell me the distance between the two struts at the front of a s2/rs2? from allen key hole---to---allen key hole?

and from the inside of the big hole that the shock pokes through---to--- the other hole?

    The only dims i have...

Come from the Bentley manual covering 80,90 coupe and saloon, 4 and 5 cyclinder.

Cant give you the first as its not listed, someone will have to measure it, but the second is saloon 1050 +/-1mm, coupe 1050 +/-2mm.
    Carlos.

On the look out for less bits for my s2 saloon project. Now supporting myself by shooting for my food. www.airgunforum.co.uk

when i was taking the left hand side engine mount out to get fixed i noticed one of the tyres had uneven wear on it!

its ether the bottom of the strut is to far out or the top is to far in...

you could always try a spirit level on your wheel as a rough guide to camber.what's the tracking like?

ok heres the problem... i checked the distance between the two struts and its pretty much bang on, but the wheel is sittin it at the top, which makes me think its too far out at the ball joint... heres where the begins.... if i addjust the strut in at the ball joint the wheel will sit in the wheel arch to far?? bent strut??

ps. had the tracking set so thats ok

pps. the tyre is wearing off the inside
