S6 C4 steering wheel to RS2

Hello!

Has anybody got any experience with S6 sport (3 spoke) steering wheel? The thing is that my RS2 has an ordinary airbag (4 spoke) steering wheel and I bought S6 sport steering wheel to fit it to RS2. In a view days I'm going to deal with this matter..

Speak to UrS4boy, as he sent me some pdfs- I take it you mean the 3 spoke non airbag wheel??

I changed mine to this type but i had to modify the indicator self cancelling and get a surround from an early audi 100, so the horn would work.
Easy to change once you get all the parts

sorry, didn't realise it was going in an RS2 - you may need the early non airbag coupe surround for the horn.

Look behind the steering wheel in your rs2. if it has a plate behind, than you can replace it with no mods.

The thing is that mine RS2 doesn't have a plate. Ill figure out something.

Than you will have to make major mods to the steering column, all the switches, plastic surrounding. Make a search on the forum.

it a big job!!!!

On my s2 i changed the grandad airbag steering wheel, to the rs2 steering wheel, you have to change wiring in steering colum, change the stalks to allow the wheel to fit and replace the upper and lower moulding surrounds. All in all quite a big job there is a thread on this i believe. Why would anyone want to change from a airbag steering wheel to a normal steering wheel??????
